About

Habit Territory is a habit and challenge tracker with a territory game on top. Invite friends to a room — pushups, running, reading — log the progress you really made, and watch it turn into ground you hold.

How a room works

Agree on the rate

A room sets what one cell costs: ten pushups, one kilometer, ten pages. Everyone in the room is on the same exchange rate, so the map is a fair comparison rather than a list of different units.

Log what you did

Progress is entered by the person who made it. There is no timer and nothing moves on its own — you only advance when something happened in the physical world.

Hold the most ground

Earned cells are painted in your color on the room's map. The round ends when the last cell is painted, and whoever holds the most of them wins it.

What it is not

It does not track you. Nothing is read from your phone's sensors, no step counter, no location, no connected fitness account. The only record of your progress is the one you type in, which is also the only reason the numbers mean anything to the people in your room.

There is no streak to lose overnight and nothing punishes a quiet week. A day you did nothing is simply a day the map did not change.

Getting in

An account is an email address and a six-digit code — no password to forget. Rooms are private: you get in through an invite link from someone already there, or a direct invitation from the room's owner, and a link is a credential, so treat it like a key rather than an address.
